Dariusz Sobczynski received the MSc, and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the Rzeszow University of Technology, Poland, in 1996 and 2004, respectively. He pursued his academic career as research assistant from 1996 to 2004, and as assistant professor from 2004 to up to now at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Technical University of Rzeszow. Since 2018 he has been the head of the Department of Power Electronics and Power Engineering. His scientific interests are related to power electronic drives including high-speed induction motor drives, power electronics converters, control of power electronic converters and systems, wind and solar power energy systems, technical aspects of electrical energy utilization.
